On the air for 26 years now, CFRT 107.3 FM is the only French-language community station in Nunavut. Although its primary mandate is to promote Iqaluit‘s Franco-Nunavian culture, CFRT welcomes and promotes all cultures, just like its city. The station mostly broadcasts in French, but also in Inuit languages and English.

Iqaluit, which means “Place of many fish” in Inuktitut, is the capital and largest city of the territory of Nunavut.
